Acorn caps are an excellent addition to the aquarium as a decorative item.
They will release tannins and also create biofilm for the shrimp habitat. and as little hiding places for the aquarium critters!
Prior to use, boil for approximately 10 minutes and if needed soak overnight until water logged, this will enable the caps to sink
