Cobra Leaves – Coccoloba uvifera
Cobra leaves are great to use as leaf litter, as teh leaves are quite thick they naturally become one of the longer lasting leaves. Idea for both a visual aesthetic and providing shelter within the terrarium or aquarium.
Within the aquarium they will breakdown slower than most leaves and provide biofilm for shrimp, snails and other inhabitants.
For use in an aquarium, boil them for approximately 10 minutes and leave to soak for around an hour. Rinse before adding to the aquarium.
