Description
Tropica Lava Rock is a porous rock that can be used to both aquascape and hardscape your aquarium.
Whilst adding colour and a visual aesthetic to your aquarium, this rock also creates a good environment for your fish and shrimp, being porous it adds an area for bacteria to colonise and thus improves the overall benefit to the tank inhabitants. Lava rock is easy to maintain, and it is safe for aquatic life. Tropica Lava Rock can be used for attaching plants to as well as serving as a nice decoration in your aquarium. The rock pieces have a size of 8-15 cm.
When receiving please rinse the rock to remove any dust and debris, you can also soak and change the water a few times as well as use a soft brush to clean if requires.
Once in the tank, if the rock requires cleaning, clean in a bucket of tank water so as not to kill any beneficial bacteria that have colonised the rock. Dispose of the removed tank water afterwards in an ethical manner.
