The use of Montmorillonite in water reservoirs has a positive effect on the health and development of all living organisms and plants. It releases many micronutrients that activate enzymes, hormones and vitamins for their proper functioning. It stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria in the water reservoir. The idea of using Montmorillonite in water reservoirs comes from Japan. Ornamental shrimp breeders use Montmorillonite in their water tanks, which influences their colouration, especially of Caridina shrimps.
How to use: We recommend approx. 100 g for 50-70 litres of aquarium water. Can be placed directly in the aquarium in one or more pieces or as an addition to the filter. The mineral will retain its properties for about 4-6 months. Then it must be replaced.
