Ramshorn readily breed in the aquarium, and are tolerant of a wide variety of water parameters.
Often regarded as a ‘pest’ snail, they are a great addition (if the population is kept under control) to a shrimp tank as they eat waste and add to the low bioload that a shrimp tank has.
