PrimePore is a modern ceramic filter material with a unique structure. PrimePore is shaped like spheres with a hollow interior. Such a unique structure ensures very effective anaerobic zones. The structure and porous structure of PrimePore create ideal conditions for the growth of beneficial bacteria. Due to the innumerable number of pores of different sizes, aerobic and anaerobic zones are created. This enables, among others occurrence of nitrification and denitrification processes. PrimePore has pores with a size of 40-50 µm, which are biologically effective, i.e. they have the appropriate size to allow colonization by bacteria. Bacteria growing on the surface and inside PrimePore break down undesirable substances and purify the water, e.g. from ammonia (NH4), nitrite (NO2) and nitrate (NO3). PrimePore is shaped like a sphere with a diameter of approx. 10-12 mm.

Usage method: PrimePore should be flushed before use. The ceramic cartridge must be placed in the filter baskets behind the mechanical cleaning cartridges. For every 100 litres of water, it is advantageous to use about 1 litre of bed. The ceramic cartridge is rinsing and reusable.
ATTENTION! Never clean or replace the entire quantity of PrimePore in one operation. If necessary, replace 30-50% at a time. Never clean too rigorously (cultures of beneficial bacteria cannot be completely destroyed), in most cases a simple rinse with water drained from the tank every few weeks is enough. Do not use for breeding plants and animals intended for consumption and food processing. The product is intended for aquariums with fish and ornamental plants. Keep away from children. Lots of products may vary in colour and shade. Period of validity: unlimited. The production date is also the production batch number.
